KDE Frameworks 5 Alpha 2 Officially Released, Focuses on Wayland and Mac OS X

The KDE Community has announced that KDE Frameworks 5 Alpha 2 has been released, which marks another step towards the end of the old KDE Platform 4.

A new development version of KDE Frameworks 5 has been released, but there is nothing too spectacular about it. A lot of smaller changes have been implemented, but the most notable features are the work that’s being done for Mac OS X and the implementation of Wayland.
