Yesterday, we reported on the the Document Foundation’s growth in volunteers as the release of LibreOffice 4.1 was imminent. It was much closer than we expected though, as today LibreOffice 4.1 was officially released, five months after the release of LibreOffice 4.0.
As we mentioned yesterday, there are a few new features in this version, including better embedded image rotation in Writer, cell counting in Calc, slideshows from photos in Impress and much more. As usual, there’s also the updates to the interoperability with Microsoft Office and other office suites.
You can grab the installers for the new version of LibreOffice now from its download page.
