The Raspberry Pi’s camera has been talked about for a long time it seems, but it’s now finally able to be purchased for use with your Raspberry Pi. The Raspberry Pi foundation explained in their announcement post that the release itself was delayed for a further month while software was sorted out for the device.
The Raspberry Pi foundation have also release a video on how you can go about setting up your camera.
There’s also some step-by-step instructions on the Pi website. You can buy the Pi Camera board from Element14 now for £16.56 (~$25), and the RS Components website will be updated shortly with a way to purchase it.
